Blog: Foreign Policy & AI Forum - Panel Discussion: “GovTech for Foreign and Global Affairs – Opportunities and Constraints”
Last week, Prof. Ingmar Weber was a panelist at the Foreign Policy & AI Forum - Panel Discussion: “GovTech for Foreign and Global Affairs – Opportunities and Constraints”.
It was a dynamic exchange about opportunities and constraints of emerging technologies in foreign and global affairs, examining how digital innovations can enhance diplomatic processes, international cooperation, and policy implementation. Participants gained valuable insights about the influence of technology on effective governance and learned which opportunities and challenges this offers for political actors.
The panel was hosted by the University of Birmingham, Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Government (CAIG).
